She added that the company had not only continued with the business of manufacturing but had kept contributing to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product by providing jobs for Nigerians.

Atako state that the NIM was committed to contributing to the continued management excellence of the company through restructuring, training and design of in-plant training programme.

“Since inception 61 years ago, the institute has been providing management expertise and professionalism to managers and contributing to nation building through consultancy, re-engineering, public policy advocacy and human capital development.

“We look forward to a win-win relationship between NIM and PZ Cussons,” she said.

She charged the company via its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform to continue to impact the management profession in all its aspects.

Engr Dom Ezeokana, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director, PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, reiterated the company’s commitment to the country’s backward integration policy and outgrowers scheme to engender job creation.

Ezeokana added that all of the company’s key business sectors; oil, electronic and personal care would continue to strive toward consumer satisfaction.

“In line with the company’s sustainability project, we ensure that our electronic products are environment friendly and also energy saving,” he said.

He, however, tasked government to address the increased excise on some manufacturing inputs, address port congestions, scarce foreign exchange and provide adequate road infrastructure to support the manufacturing sector.

Ezeokana expressed willingness to partner with the NIM to drive efficiency of the company’s staff.

“PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc would continue to add value to the system and we are willing to partner with the NIM to show our commitment to leadership training,” he said.(NAN)
