“It has been made abundantly clear that the public service under the current Federal Government, is performance-driven and government businesses can no longer be conducted as usual. Thus, the Government and its partners have worked assiduously to establish performance management and measurement mechanisms that are aimed at holding all public officers accountable,” he said.

A Director from the office of the Head of Service, Rikko Owutti, while addressing NIMASA staff on Performance Management process, commended the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy for taking the lead in the quest to change status quo in terms of service delivery and performance Management.

So when you deliver, I will have a good report card to submit to our Minister, who in turn will submit same to the President. I urge you to deliver on this bond we signed today because the success or otherwise of our President depends largely on your performance,” he said.
