NIS commissions clinic at Gurin border post

THE Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, Muhammad Babandede, has on Thursday commissioned a clinic for the use by the officers and men of the Nigeria Immigration Service Gurin Control Post in Adamawa State.

According to a statement signed by James Sunday,,Service Public Relations officer,.Babandede on arrival in Yola paid courtesy call on the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, at the Government House, Yola where the governor commended the Service and the Comptroller General for a good work and service to the nation.

Gov. Fintiri praised Babandede for his prudent management of human and capital resources and the spread of infrastructures across the country.

Responding, Babandede thanked the governor for the support received by the Service in terms of logistics and inclusion of the Service in the membership of the Adamawa State Security Council where they contribute to the security of the state being a border state with Cameroon.

He assured the governor that with the Forward Operation Base, FOB, also to be commissioned at Belel, the state will enjoy fortification in border security and migration control.
