NNEWI has vowed to return GovernorWillie Obiano for a second term in order to ensure that his successor comes from Anambra South Senatorial Zone.
Fred Odukwe, the chairman of the Local Government Area, LGA, chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, said this at Osumenyi while welcoming Nnaemeka Onuzulike, the chairman of Iron Rod Dealers Association, Atani, near Onitsha, into the APGA.
“We will work hard to ensure that Gov. Obiano is voted for second term. We must be vigilant so as to guard against stealing of our votes.
“Our people should come and join APGA so that we must work to return Obiano.
“APGA is not just a political party, but a Movement that caters for the interest of Ndigbo. No Igbo man or woman needs a sermon before joining or supporting the party,” Odukwe said.
The chairman recalled that Peter Obi, a former governor, could not have recorded all the things he achieved, if he was not in the APGA then, saying that the best thing that ever happened to the state was having APGA at the helm of affairs.
