No surprises in early U.S. results as Trump wins West Virginia
Politics
FRMER president Donald Trump is projected to win the state of West Virginia, US networks CNN, NBC and CBS have projected.
There have been no surprises so far in the early states to be called by the broadcasters.
Most of the pivotal swing states, like Pennsylvania, are still voting, but Georgia and North Carolina are counting votes and too close to call.
Vice President Kamala Harris and Trump are battling to find a path to the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency.
With four states now having projected winners, Republican candidate Trump currently has 23 electoral votes to three for Democratic nominee Harris. (dpa/NAN
