HEAD Coach of Enyimba International FC of Aba, Finidi George said he is optimistic of  his team picking  the maximum points against visiting Kano Pillars FC of Kano.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the match day 28 fixture of the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) will be played at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba on Wednesday.

George, who stated this while addressing newsmen in Aba on Tuesday, said that the team will leave no stone unturned to ensure a convincing victory.

“It is an important match against Kano Pillars, you all know that I have been away for some time and it is good to be back for the club assignment.

“We will try to get the best result and anything short of winning is not good enough so we will do everything possible to get the result in the match,” he said.

He said that his team will go for the three points at stake and continue to consolidate their position on the league table and performance.

“I think we should expect good football. The players are in good form and hopefully, we will get the result come Wednesday against a good side like Kano Pillars,” he said.

NAN reports that Enyimba has 45 points from 27 matches and are fourth on the table, while Pillars has 41 points from 27 matches and are fifth on the table.(NAN)
