OLARENWAJU Daniel, the assistant technical adviser, Enyimba International FC of Aba, said that the club will do all in its ability to finish the first stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in top three.

Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Aba, coach Daniel said the club will fight to ensure it finishes the first stanza in continental position.

The coach said that the players are fully focused for their match day 19 coming up on Sunday against Shooting Stars Sports Club in Ibadan.

“Though the last two games were not favourable to us, if we played the way we did against Plateau and Katsina, we should be able to get something against 3SC.

“The players gave their all in those matches, maybe our effort was not enough and we have to double it this time around.

“We will do our best against 3SC because we want to end the first stanza of the league in top three or four, so we are going to fight to finish.

“The matches against Plateau and Katsina have come and gone and we are now motivated for the matches upfront because we cannot keep dweling on the past,”Daniel said.

The club midfield marshal, Daniel Daga, said the game against 3SC will be a tough one but believed that his club will come out on top.

“It is not going to be an easy game but am hopeful and confident of a win, we have come a long way and cannot fail to get the three points.

“We are aspiring to get back to wining ways, Enyimba is hungry to win and win always as the league trophy and continental ticket still remain our target,” Daga said. (NAN)
