THE National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA) plans to improve efficiency to be a reference point to other agencies, Dr Faisal Shuaib,  it’s Executive Director, has said.

Shuaib made the plan known in his opening remarks at a two-day retreat for senior management staff of the agency in Abuja on Wednesday.

He said, ”we are here to re-align ourselves behind the vision of the agency, an agency that will be a reference point in Nigeria”.

He said that the engagement would provide an opportunity to appraise and align on the agency’s vision.

The NPHCDA boss said that the retreat would enable the senior management staff to re-tool so as to reflect on the job for the agency to deliver on its mandate.

He urged the staff to continue to do things differently by brainstorming on strategies to strengthen and optimise the agency’s programmes and priorities.

Shuaib noted that the retreat would address the agency’s barriers to optimal programme  effectiveness  for hNigerians. (NAN)
