THE Niger State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC) has decorated its 102 newly-promoted personnel  with new ranks.

The commandant, Mr Mohammed Dandare, decorated the personnel at the command’s headquarters in Minna on Wednesday.

Dandare said that the 102 personnel from several divisions of the command were promoted due to commitment  to duty.

He thanked the Commandant-General of the NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Audi, for recognising the hard work of the personnel.

He said that the command would continue to provide security for residents of the 25 local government areas of the state.

Dandare reiterated the commandant-general’s commitment in protecting critical national assets.

He called on the officers to intensify efforts  in protecting the assets.

” I call on officers and men of the command to remain steadfast and committed to duty,” he said.

He appealed to the residents of the state to assist the command with reliable information that could help in apprehending and prosecuting suspected  criminals. (NAN)
