NSCIA loses Deputy President-General

THE Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) on Wednesday announced the death of its Deputy President-General, Dr Sakariyau Babalola.
The announcement, contained in a statement signed by the council’s Deputy Secretary-General, Salisu Shehu, said that the deceased, until his death, was also the President of Muslims of South West of Nigeria (MUSWEN).
The statement commiserated with the family of the deceased family, President-General of NSCIA and Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, and the entire Muslim world over the loss.
It said that Babalola, who died in Lagos, had since been buried. (NAN)
