NYSC deploys 1,593 corps members to Gombe

THE National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has deployed 1,593 corps members to Gombe State for the 2024 Batch “C” Stream 1 Orientation exercise.

This is contained in a statement on Wednesday signed by Ms Jennifer Laha, the Head of Information and Public Relations Unit of the NYSC in Gombe.

Laha said the corps members were expected to report at the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, Amada in the Akko Local Government Area of the state.

“The NYSC 2024 Batch “C” Stream I Orientation Course starts from November 27 to December 17, 2024, nationwide.

“In Gombe State, a total of 1,593 prospective corps members were deployed to the state,” she said.

She advised the corps members to arrive early to camp while ensuring all arrangements had been made to ensure their comfort.

She further advised the prospective corps members to avoid night journeys and use designated motor parks when boarding vehicles.

Laya appealed to the people of the state to accord the prospective corps members the usual hospitality the state was known for. (NAN)
