THE Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akinolu, has commended the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for making Lagos state proud.

Akinolu gave the commendation at his Iga Idunganran Palace in Lagos on Monday when he played host to the management staff of LUTH.

Akinolu, who was represented by Prince Ayodele Oyekan, Bajulaiye of Lagos, said that the successful dialysis operations done in LUTH had put Lagos on a world map in tertiary health-care.

The Oba commended the founding fathers of LUTH and urged the present management of LUTH to keep up the good work.

Earlier, LUTH Chief Medical Director, Prof. Chris Bode, said that the visit was to inform the Oba of the forthcoming 60th anniversary of the hospital coming up in October 2022. (NAN)
