Obiano delivers democracy dividends to all, says Hausa community chief

Muhammed Tiya, head of the Hausa Community in Nnewi has commended Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State for delivering the dividends of democracy to every personm in the state without discrimination.

“The governor has developed all sectors of Anambra State; he has brought dividends of democracy to all sectors of human endeavour,’’ Tiya said during the celebration of Ed El Fitri at 100 Foot Road, Nnewi.

“He is a people-oriented governor and he organises annual meetings with Hausa Community living in Anambra, where issues, and problems of the community are openly deliberated upon and solutions proffered,’’ Tiya said.

The leader of the community, then, spoke on the importance of Ramadan Fast, advising Muslims to be modest in their spending while celebrating Eid El Fitr to avoid being in debt or go into bankruptcy.

In his prayers, Garba Yusuf, the chief Imam of Muslim Community in Nnewi, thanked God for successful completion of the 2018 Ramadan Fast and Ed El Fitri.

“As we thank the Almighty Allah for this year`s Ed El Fitri, I advise all Muslims to imbibe the virtues of peace and religious tolerance in order to have peaceful co-existence between Muslims and their host Community.

“We praise Governor Obiano for his leadership abilities and dynamism that has made Anambra secure for businesses to thrive,’’ Yusuf said.
