PEOPLE of Ihiala Local Government Area, LGA, have hailed Governor Willie Obiano for completing the rehabilitation work on the failed portion of Onitsha/Owerri Expressway.

The failed portion of the road is located around a prominent filling station, Total Filling Station, Ihiala.

The portion had been a death trap for motorists and other road users before the rehabilitation work by the Anambra Road Maintenance Agency, ARMA.

According to the assistant manager of the filling station, known simply as Mrs Caroline, said that the Governor has done well in refurbishing that portion that had almost turned to crater.

She said that the road had posed a big problem to their businesses before the repair work was carried out.

Chinenye Nwatakwuka, a newspaper vendor, who owns a communication and phone shop in the area, commended the governor, stressing that he deserved a second tenure to complete his good works.
