Obiano, is workers-friendly, says Head of Service

HARRY Udu, the Anambra State head of service, HOS, has re-assured of Governor Willie Obiano’s willingness to continue to build friendly relationship between government and civil servants.

Udu gave the assurance during the 3rd Quadrennial State Delegates Conference, organised by the Association of Senior Civil Servants, Anambra State chapter at Havilla Suits, Awka.

Udu commended the civil servants for their support to Obiano, assuring that the governor would fulfil all his promises to them.

“The governor is workers-friendly,” he said.

Meanwhile, new executive committee members have been elected from different ministries to run the affairs of the association.

The elected executive include, Ifeanyi Okechukwu (chairman), Chike Muobike (1st. vice-chairman), Emeka Paul (2nd vice-chairman) and Alex Ebi (secretary).

Others are Obi (auditor) Innocent Ewelum (treasurer) and Augustine Anaedozie.

The elected executive, most of who were returned for a second term unopposed.

The head of service, then, commended past executive for their efforts toward land acquisition.

Udu, also enjoined them to continue to organise seminars and conferences for improve capacities of members.

Okechukwu thanked Obiano for his continued support to members and the association for their support during the conduct of the election in a peaceful manner.

He pledged to work hard with his executive to ensure that the demands of civil servants would be met.
