THE Ofu Obi Youth Forum has held a rally to declare its support for re-election of Governor Willie Obiano.

Members of the forum went round the city of Awka and later paid a visit to the Government House to declare their support for re-election of Obiano.

Receiving them at Government House, Nkem Okeke, the deputy governor, re-assured them of successful election and victory for the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, government.

He said, with the help of the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, and their software programmes, there would be no room for election vices, stressing that other political parties, who were planning to rig the election would be disappointed.

Okeke called on Ndi Anambra to come out in time and cast their votes as accreditation and voting would hold simultaneously.

“We have come to support APGA with all our strengths and ensure that APGA must succeed,’’ Chidiebere Udenweze, the leader of the forum, said earlier.

He declared their readiness to protect their votes after exercising their franchise.

Udenweze said the forum would institute monitoring team that would go round the different wards and Local Government Areas on November 18 election.

He, then, condemned the anti election threat, ‘No election’ by some youths of the state, “our rights should not be taken away from us at Nov. 18 election.’’
