Ogbole sets sight on record-breaking season with Kwara Utd

INFORM Kwara United FC of Ilorin playmaker, Emmanuel Ogbole, has set more than 20 goals target for himself for the Ilorin based Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side.

NAN recalls that Ogbole scored six goals in five games recently making him one of the hottest prospects in the league so far this season.

Ogbole in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on Thursday, said he was not aware that people are following his goal-scoring record.

“I feel very happy, I didn’t know people were following me, I want to make history and break records.

“For the first round, I have set a target of more than 10 goals, we are moving step by step to see how it goes,” Ogbole said.

He described Kwara United as a big club which has brought excitement to him playing for the club, the player further revealed that they are not afraid of any club in the league.

Ogbole said he always fights for everything where he comes from, adding that whenever he is given an opportunity, he makes use of it.

“Even if it is five minutes that I get the opportunity to play, I will always love to show people that I am a fighter and a warrior,” Ogbole said.

Kwara United are currently 9th on the NPFL table with 20 points from 15 games. (NAN)
