Ogun gets new FRSC sector commander

CORPS Commander Akinwumi Fasakin, has assumed duty as the new Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) ,in Ogun.

Fasakin, in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abeokuta on Friday, said that he was happy being in the state.

The new sector commander promised to rejig operational activities and ensure prompt rescue operation in the state.

He added that he would collaborate with all sister agencies and relevant stakeholders in ensuring safety on Ogun roads.

” I will rejig operational activities in the state , ensure prompt rescue operation and collaborate with all sister agencies and relevant stakeholders in ensuring safety on our roads,” he said.

Fasakin appealed to motorists to drive carefully in order to stay alive and always obey traffic rules and regulations at all time.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the sector commander had his first degree in Political Science and Language Arts at the
University of Ibadan.

He bagged MSC in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from same university.
