THE Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has congratulated Gov. Peter Mbah of Enugu State as he clocked 52 on March 17.
Ohaneze in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Dr Alex Ogbonnia on Monday in Enugu, described Mbah as a creative thinker, and visionary with poetic eloquence.
The group noted also that the governor has a disarming charisma, remained a tenacious goal getter, extraordinary energetic workaholic and a jinx breaker.
According to them, the recent visit to Mbah by the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has left indelible impressions in their minds of an uncommon robust and audacious governance model.
“The incredible achievement of pipe borne water in Enugu within 180 days of assumption of office; the rare and focused awesome strategy to raise the Enugu State GDP from 4.4 billion dollars to 30 billion dollars are laudable.
“His courageous attack on insecurity and success over the Monday-Sit-at-Home; the smart school philosophy spanning the 260 electoral wards in Enugu state; the incredible rural health service delivery and the New Enugu City.
“The Enugu State Electricity Law; the launching of the construction and rehabilitation of numerous roads in Enugu state, amongst others,” the group stated.
It added that Ohaneze observed that Mbah’s unique governance model had attracted the global community with several international investors seeking business partnerships with Enugu state.
It noted that the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, remained very proud of Mbah.
