Organisation reiterates commitment to deepening China-Africa trade cooperation

MR Jack Yan, Vice President of Ghana Association of Chinese Societies, has reiterated the organisation’s commitment to deepening China-Africa trade cooperation.

Jack, also Vice President of Ghana Chinese Chamber of Commerce Council for Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China in Ghana, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Beijing.

According to him, China and Africa share lots of similarities, therefore the need for both parties to learn about each other and meet people’s needs in various economic sectors.

Jack, a New Zealand publisher, designer and businessman said: “I think Chinese people like Africa because Africans have good mutual relationships with them irrespective of their business climate.

“Africans too like Chinese products and I look forward to attracting more Chinese investors into African countries, to further deepen cooperation between China and Africa.

“China and Africa share lots of similarities, especially shared future that can greatly benefit both parties; Africans can learn a lot from China and vice versa.

“China can teach Africans about developing processes, particularly on proper ways businesses thrive in the country, while Africa can teach China its traditional ways of developing economies too.

“It means business cooperation can be enhanced and we will do everything we can to achieve the desired goals.”

NAN reports that the Ghana Association of Chinese Societies is an NGO that seeks to promote business relations between China and Ghana, as well as other African countries. (NAN)
