Oshodi-Isolo LGA boss reiterates commitment resident’s security

BOLAJI Ariyoh, Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State, on Wednesday, reiterated his commitment towards enhancing the security of lives and properties of  residents of the council.

This assurance is contained in a press statement signed by Mr Babajide Dada, the Media Officer of the council and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

The chairman was quoted as making the remarks while interacting with the New Area Commander of Area “F” Command Ikeja, ACP John Ali Zongo, who was on a familiarisation visit to the local government.

The council boss charged the commander to improve on the effective community policing, already in place.

According to the statement, issues threatening community policing in the council area were discussed extensively for positive change.

Ariyoh, appreciated the new area commander for his visit, assuring him of his progressive collaboration in discharging his duties to achieve “a secured Oshodi”.

In his remarks, Zongo assured the council chairman that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring that the area command is adequately secured and remain a safe haven for the residents.
