Osinbajo Vows to Retain Magu as EFCC Chairman

YEMI Osinbajo, acting president, has thumbed his nose on the threat by the Senate to impeach him over the continued stay in office of Ibrahim Magu as the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Osinbajo today in Kaduna stressed that as as long as he remains the acting president and President Muhammadu Buhari’s mandate as president subsists, Magu will continue in office as the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The acting president state this at the inauguration of the Zonal office of the EFCC in Kaduna.
Realnews recalls that the relationship between the Presidency and the Senate has been icy since the later refused to confirm Magu as the chairman of the EFCC after the former submitted his name twice for confirmation
