Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Lagos, on Monday, described the late Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) Founder, Dr Frederick Fasheun as a good adviser and great achiever.
Agbabiaka told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that Fasheun left his mark as a great achiever after his unprecedented contributions in beefing up security in the Southwest.
The monarch said that his community benefited immensely from the late OPC founder’s security initiatives.
He noted that Fasheun remained a fantastic adviser as he would always proffer solutions to problems and gave healthy counsel.
“Fasheun’s death is a painful one but I will say death is inevitable. Everyone will die at a time.
“He fought and conquered well at 83. We can only now pray that God rests his soul and comfort everyone he left behind.
“He was a good adviser and great achiever and believed in everybody’s activities.
“Fasheun’s contributions to solving security challenges had helped my domain over the years and I would forever be grateful for that,’’ the monarch said.
Oba Agbabiaka, however, hoped that Fasheun’s death would finally bring peace and harmony to the OPC Forum; as there had been a fight for a common leader for some time now.
“Now we are assured of peace and harmony as I see the OPC with a common leader,’’ he said. (NAN)
