Osun PDP  holds primaries to replace Otunba Arabambi

THE PDP in Osun State on Tuesday conducted fresh primary election to elect replacement for it’s candidate in Irewole, Isokan, Ayedaade Federal Constituency.

The bye election was sequel to the death of the formal candidate, Otunba Olusola Arabambi, as required by the Independent National Electoral Commission and in line with the electoral act.

At the end of the exercise, Hon Oladebo Lanre Omoleye was unanimously nominated by delegates of the party in the federal constituency to replace the former candidate.

While charging  Hon Oladebo.on the need to kickstart his campaigns immediately, the state caretaker committee chairman, Dr Akindele Adekunle enjoined him to work in comportment and synergy with all the stakeholders of the party in the federal constituency, in oder to ensure victory for the party in the fast approaching Feb 25 general elections

Dr Akindele commended leaders of the party in the federal constituency for their maturity and understanding with which the nomination process was handled. 

The chairman specifically applauded the Senatorial Candidate of the party for Osun West, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, Dr K.K Akinroye ,Hon Festus Adeyemo and several other leaders of the party who allowed love and interest of the party to prevail in the nomination process.
