Osun speaker emerges caretaker committee member for conference of speakers

ADEWALE Egbedun, speaker of the Osun State, House of Assembly, is among the caretaker committee for the conference of speakers.

The six-man committee was inaugurated during the technical session and induction for speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria on July 13, in Abuja.

The event is expected to foster deeper synergy between State Houses of Assembly and help them deliver their mandates more efficiently.

It was organised by the Strategic Partner (PERL- ECP) in partnership with Conference of Speakers of States’ Legislatures of Nigeria.

The opening remark of the event was delivered by Sheriff Oborevwori, governor of Delta State,  who is the immediate past speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.
