Our Lady's High School Onitsha old students set to inaugurate new executives, honour members

OUR Lady’s High School Old Students Association is set to inaugurate her newly elected executives and honour outstanding old students who have distinguished themselves in their various endeavours.

The National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Vincent Ezekwueme, announced during the pre-inauguration/awards ceremony and press conference in Awka that the highlights of the event include the inauguration of Noble Oguguo led National Executives Council and the award of distinguished service award to outstanding members of the association.

Prominent among them are former president general Justice Ezebilo Ozobu, Justice Lawrence Alinnor, former governor of Anambra State and Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral Alison Madueke, HRM Prof Green Nwankwo and Late Emma Molokwu.

He added that the Governor of Anambara State, Professor Charles Soludo, is the Chief Guest of Honour, while the Commissioner.for Education Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh is the guest of honour and keynote speaker, while Eric Anazodo, President DMGS Old Students Association, is the guest speaker and will deliver a lecture entitled “Secondary School Education” the roles and challenges of old students association.

“There will be presidential tours of the school facilities and novelty match on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the school compound and that there will be a fund raising event for the rehabilitation of dilapidated and decrepit sections of the school.

He assured that necessary arrangements have been made for the successful events slated for Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Hilton Leisure Resort Hotel Awka under the distinguished chairmanship of Emma Emegoakor.
