Pacific Drilling Ltd. is not involved in Osun borehole projects
Politics
PACIFIC Drilling Ltd. has said that its attention has been drawn to a blackmailing piece from a disturbed mind who alleged that Pacific Drilling Limited is the contractor for the 332 borehole projects now ongoing across the state.
This is a wicked lie that can only originate from an estranged individual, who is being driven with hatred and bile.
The ongoing portable water provision programme is a grassroot intervention that is being coordinated by each local government and area councils with supervision of the state government.
The participating firms are also locally sourced with the water and works department of each local governments handling the procurement processes. The grassroots’ contentment is widely acknowledged as the masses welcome the 100 days initiatives with open arms.
The conception of the pro-masses 100 Day programmes takes into account cost effectiveness, durability, maintenance plan and local ownership. This administration crafted specific plans including the borehole as a short term intervention to address acute water shortage that is weakening the health of Osun people.
‘’It is therefore a reprehensible fake news from the pit of hell to allege that a single company is anchoring the borehole projects. Pacific Holding is not involved in any project in Osun. It is on record that Deji Adeleke, who the blackmailer seeks to malign was the first to announce his ambassadorship of good governance, pledging to monitor the new government for adherence to peoples’ aspirations and needs.
“We call on Osun people to ignore the agent of falsehood and blackmail. This administration is committed to transparency, due process and open governance,” the company said in a statement.
