ANAMBRA State Government says there would be partial movement of individuals and vehicles on Saturday, January 13, from 6am until 4pm in seven Local Government Areas of the state.
A statement released by Ogbuefi Tony Nnachetta, the commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, said the restriction would be observed only at the affected local government areas, where the Anambra Central Senatorial Election were scheduled to hold.
They comprise, Idemili North and South, Njikoka, Dunukofia, Anaocha, Awka North and South.
According to Nnacheta, the partial restrictions are to encourage registered voters in the areas to exercise their civic responsibilities on Election Day.
The statement, however, noted that the Enugu/Onitsha Expressway would not be affected by the restriction order.
