THE Forum of Senators’ Wives has joined the Senate in the mourning of Anne Nnenna Nnaji, the late wife of Gilbert Nnaji, a senator representing Enugu East, who passed away on Saturday, September 9.

In a statement by Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, the Senate spokesperson, Anne Nnaji was a gentle person and a pillar of support to her husband. She was a devoted wife, mother and a public spirited woman.

Toyin Saraki, the chair, Forum of Senators’ Wives, expressed deep sadness over the loss, adding that the Forum would miss her dearly.

“We commiserate with her husband, Senator Gilbert Nnaji (Enugu East), the entire family and the people of Enugu East Senatorial District and pray the Almighty will grant her soul eternal rest,” a statement from the forum said.
