IBRAHIM Abubakar, head of protocol of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, was shot dead at his house in Abuja in the early hours of Wednesday, January 6. The killing was said to have carried by armed robbers who stormed his residence in the early hours of the day.
A tweet on the twitter handle of the NFF, @thenff, stated that the body of Abubakar had been taken to Kaduna, his home town for burial according to Islamic rites on Wednesday.
Abubakar, according to the report, celebrated his birthday recently.
