PCRC seeks effective partnership to tackle crime in Nasarawa State

THE Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in Nasarawa State has called for effective partnership between Nigerians and security agencies to promote peace in the state and the country.
Mr David Abuluya, the Nassarawa State PCRC Chairman, made the call while speaking with newsmen in Akwanga on Friday.
Abuluya said that no society would achieve meaningful development without peace.
He pledged to provide useful information to the police and other security agencies to address crime in the state.
” We are all aware that the police are our friends, we need them.We will continue to be their friends and they will also continue to be our friends.
“ We will help in providing useful information to the police as they have always been helping us to promote peace in the country,” he said.
The PCRC chairman assured the people of the state of his administration’s readiness to initiate good policies and programmes that would promote unity and peace.
He urged the people to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live in peace, irrespective of their affiliations. ( NAN)
