ALI Modu Sheriff, national chairman, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on behalf of the national executive committee, NEC, of the party has condoled with the federal government and President Muhammadu Buhari on the tragic death of James Ocholi, SAN, minister of State for Labour, his wife and son in a car crash on Sunday, March 6.
Sheriff’s message was contained in a statement signed bu Olisa Metuh, national publicity secretary of the PDP, released on Monday, March 7. In the statement, the PDP said the sad development came to the PDP as a huge shock and prayed God to grant eternal repose to their souls.
The party also commiserated with the minister’s family praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. The party asked the family to take solace in the exemplary and patriotic life lived by Ocholi as well as his immense contributions to the legal profession and the nation at large. It prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest.
