PDP constitutes screening committee for Kaduna State congress

THE National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the nomination of Davematics Ombugadu as the  Chairman, Screening Committee for Kaduna state party congress.

The party said this in a statement issued by its National Organising Secretary, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd), in Abuja on Friday.

The committee, according to Akobundu, has been mandated to screen all aspirants for the Kaduna state party congress for the purpose of electing the State Executive Committee members.

Other members of the committee are Mr Ahmed Garba, Mrs Gladys Ashemuke,  Mr Solomon Maren, and Mr Hussaini Nnamadi as secretary.

Akobundu said that the exercise was scheduled for Saturday at the party secretariat, in Kaduna State. (NAN)
