PDP governors discuss economy, security and good governance in Akwa Ibom

GOVERNORS elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet in Uyo, Akwa-lbom State, on Monday to discuss national issues, including economy, security and good governance.

The Director-General of the PDP Governors Forum, CID Maduabum, in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, said that the governors will also discuss issues related to various agitations stretching Nigeria social fabric.

Other issues on the agenda, according to Maduabum, includes emerging threats to democracy, rule of law and Constitutionalism in Nigeria.

He said that the governors would also discuss how to continue with good governance measures in their respective States.” (NAN)
