PDP guber candidate lauds electoral process, use of BVAS in Lagos

THE Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor) on Saturday, commended the use of Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) in the 2023 General Elections.
Adediran casted his vote at Osolu Secondary School, Unit 001, Ward G, Irewe, in Ojo local government area of Lagos State.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the PDP governorship candidate for Lagos State a Nollywood actress, Ms Funke Akindele as running mate.
He arrived his polling unit at Osolu Secondary School, at about 10. 05 a.m in the company of some party members
Adediran joined the queue of electorate, and casted his vote at exactly 10.30 am
Speaking with NAN shortly after exercising his franchise, Adediran commended the voting process as well as the use of BVAS.
According to him, the process was quite seamless without any technical hitches .
He expressed optimism that the process would continue peacefully and urged all to maintain the state of orderliness.
NAN reports that at polling unit 001, an 83 years old woman, Princess Abike Oyefolu, was seen casting her votes.
She also expressed hope that the election would remain peaceful.
As at press time, the electioneering process at Unit 001 and 002 at Osolu Secondary School was going on smoothly.
