Peter Obi meets with European Union election observers

MR. Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the February 25, 2023, election has, Monday, met with the European Union (EU) Election Observation Mission to Nigeria.

The meeting is in continuation of his ongoing consultations. These consultations are going on while he continues with his campaign rallies and meetings in different states of the country.

In a tweet confirming the meeting with the group of foreign Observers, led by Mr. Thomos Boserup, the Deputy Chief Observer, Mr. Obi, former Governor of Anambra State said: “Today, I met with the EU Election Observation Mission to Nigeria, led by Mr. Thomos Boserup, the Deputy Chief Observer. We exchanged views on an array of issues germane to the conduct of free, fair, and credible elections in Nigeria. – PO.”

The Observation Mission has also held a meeting with Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) and will be in the country for the duration of the elections.
