AN ECONEC delegation led Prof Mahmood Yakubu, ECONEC board president and Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, chairman, was received in Conakry on Thursday, June 7, by Amadou Salif Kebe, president of the Guinea Electoral Commission, CENI, with other officials of the commission and the Guinea Foreign Ministry.
The delegation is in Guinea on an electoral follow-up mission, in line with the ECONEC mandate to support election management bodies towards effective preparations for the conduct of credible elections in the ECOWAS region.
