MOJI Makanjuola, former Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, star health correspondent, has been appointed as the national health insurance champion.
The National Health Insurance Authority, NHIA, of the federal government made the appointment today at the Pan Atlantic University of Lagos on Wednesday, March 22.
Accepting the award, Makanjuola said she was “overwhelmed by emotions and committed to advancing good leadership in Nigeria’s health sector”.
While at NTA, Makanjuola made her mark in health reporting traversing the states of the country and international conferences worldwide, providing coverage on topical issues on health challenges in Nigeria and Africa.
She retired from NTA after a meritorious service and has been a health advocate. She will deploy her wealth of experience in the current job for the benefit of the country and humanity.
