Nwachukwu Idemili is the first son of Pharm. Ossy Idemili and Dr. Genevive Idemili. He is a Pharmacist and a business development manager at Oskajay Nigeria Ltd, while Kosisochukwu Okoye, a Data Analyst born to Late Amb. Paul Okoye and Nene Okoye from Ogidi Ani in Anambra State.

Speaking to Realnews Magazine on her experience, the bride, Kosi said: “It felt like I’ve known him for a very long time even though we just met.

Kosi added that she wasn’t overwhelmed like the stories she had heard of brides on their D-day and everything was special as she wanted.

For Kosi, the wedding was special but what stuck the most was the special number from her husband and the dance she had with her father-in-law.

“True love is never apart even from the beginning, maybe in distance, but never in heart” According to the couple, their love story would not have happened without the help of a mutual friend who introduced them and what seemed to be a casual meeting blossomed into something so beautiful.

According to Nwachukwu, theirs was an instant connection and with him making the first move by texting Kosisochukwu on the eve of New Year later transcended into a proposal which led to them tying the knot.

For many grooms, their thoughts are usually on how their wedding would go as they stood at the altar but for Nwachukwu his thoughts and feelings were fixated on his wife and how angelic Kosi looked walking down the aisle towards him.

According to the groom, the most exciting part of the wedding was the exchange of vows as it was a reminder of the lifelong commitment they were venturing into. “It was also a reinforcement of my love for my wife.”

The groom appreciated the presence of all the personalities who graced the occasion as it was what made the wedding special. “People coming from far and wide really made the day for us, giving us their time; the hall was full and we didn’t expect it,” Nwachukwu said.
