Pilgrimage: Gov. Fintiri appoints board members

GOV. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa has approved appointment of 10 board members for the state Muslim Pilgrim’s Welfare Board with Alhaji Umaru Kem as Chairman.

Mr Humwashi Wonosikou, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, announced this in a statement issued in Yola on Monday.

He said that the appointment took immediate effect.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that other members were Abubakar Kaja, Umar Yaro, Ibrahim Umar, Bashir Aliyu, Gidado Liman, Kabiru Mustapha, Aliyu Ibrahim, Shehu Baba and Suleiman Bello. (NAN)
