THE Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora, Oyo State, says it has commenced tractor hiring service for farmers in Ibarapaland.

The Acting Rector of the institute, Mr. Olaniyi Adekunle, in a statement on Friday in Ibadan said that this was part of its corporate social responsibilities.

Adekunle said the tractor hiring service was usually provided for farmers in communities located in the area. He said that the service was at a reduced price to farmers to enhance their work.

According to him, it will assist farmers to cultivate more land and boost food production in the state.

He noted that the support service provided to the farmers was in line with the government’s agenda of driving the state’s economy through agriculture.

The acting rector called on farmers in Ibarapaland to avail themselves of the opportunity to boost agricultural production. (NAN)
