Police boss hosts Ekiti-based journalists, restates commitment to maximum security

EKITI Commissioner of Police Dare Ogundare, has restated the command’s commitment to providing adequate security, to free the state from nefarious activities.

CP Ogundare said this when he hosted journalists across the state at the Police Military Emergency Service Support (MESS) on Friday in Ado-Ekiti.

The programme was attended by management team and Senior police officers across the state.

Ogundare said the Police would continually put in more efforts to combat crimes in the state.

He also commended the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) for building good relationship and collaboration with the command, saying the partnership had yielded positive results.

In his response, the Chairman, NUJ, Ekiti State Council, Mr Kayode Babatuyi, appreciated the CP for the honour and expressed confidence in the commitment of his members to project the activities of the command. (NAN)
