Police kill 3, arrest suspected robber in Delta – PPRO

THE Police Command in Delta State says it has killed three suspected armed robbers and arrested one, in two separate robbery operations in the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, in a statement made available to newsmen yesterday in Warri, said the trio were shot on Thursday by police operatives attached to the Ozoro Division in Isoko North and Orogun Division in Ughelli North local government areas (LGAs), respectively.

 Edafe said that three locally made cut-to-size guns, one live cartridge and one motorcycle were recovered, adding that the command was already investigating the matter. (NAN)
