DSP Israel J. Adejoh of Zone 2 police command, Lagos state has been awarded with the National Integrity Award and Eminent Personalities Awards from two different institutions for fighting crimes in the state

The two awards were presented by separate bodies at different events on Friday in Lagos.

While the first award was the National Integrity Award, presented at the 22nd Annual Security, Leadership Outlook and National Integrity Awards, NIA, the second was the Eminent Personalities Award, EPA 2022, presented at the 5th Anniversary of the publisher of The Message International Magazine.

While receiving each of the awards, Adejoh expressed his joy and appreciation for the unusual recognition, noting that the awards are challenges for more diligent service.

Accepting the National Integrity Award, Adejoh thanked the convener of the award for noticing his works and finding him worthy of the award.

Also, in his acceptance speech while receiving the EPA, he said: “This award will spur me to do more. I will continue to do more and by the Grace of God, we will chase out all criminals from Nigeria.”

In an exclusive interview with Realnews Magazine, the awardee, who is also the Officer in charge of Zonal Gender section of the Zone 2 police command, Lagos, expressed his gratitude to the two award presenters noting that he never expected the unalloyed recognition.

He said: “I feel so elated and I want to thank God Almighty for giving me the grace to have been found worthy to receive these particular awards.

“I equally want to thank the organizers at the two award giving ceremonies for also deeming it necessary for taking me as one of the awardees.

“Honestly speaking, I never expected it, but this has gone to show that when you are hardworking in doing things, you may not be seeing it, but people out there are seeing it and at the appointed and right time, they will always recognize it.”

Furthermore, in his advice to other police officers, Adejoh, who was also the keynote speaker at the 5th Anniversary of the publisher of The Message International Magazine said: “My advice to my fellow police officers is to always ensure that they are diligent in their areas of assignment and they should not think of anything when they are doing their work.

“They should be diligent and hardworking and they should also believe that hard work pays and that whatever you are doing, God is seeing you and people out there are seeing you so that you will be rewarded by God and by man.”
