Police rescue 2 Kidnap victims in Osun

YEMISI Opalola, Osun State Police Command, has confirmed the release of two kidnapped victims around the Wasinmi area in the Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State.

Opalola told The Nation: “We deployed our men to the scene of the crime after a distress call and we rescued two victims and arrested three suspects.”

Realnews reports that the two victims were kidnapped on Saturday, March 6, by the gunmen on Ife/Ibadan expressway.

The gunmen waylaid and took their victim, who were on their way from Ile-Ife to Ibadan into the bush.

The police have also confirmed that the three of the kidnappers have been arrested while efforts were on to nab others .
