Police Retire 21 AIGs

THE Police Service Commission, PSC, has retired 21 assistant inspectors-general of Police who were senior to Idris Ibrahim, new acting inspector general of police, IGP before his appointment. This development may weeded out of the Nigerian Police Force experienced officers.

The affected AIGs include, Bala Hassan; Yahaya Ardo; Irmiya Yarima; Danladi Mshebwala; Tambari  Mohammed ; Bala Magaji Nasarawa; MUsa Abdulsalam; Adisa Bolanta and Mohammed Gana.

Also affected by the retrenchment exercise were Umaru  Manko;  Lawal Tanko; Olufemi  Adenike; Johnson Ogunsakin; Adenrele Shinaba; James Caulcrick;  Olufemi   Ogunbayode; Edgar Nanakumo; Kalafite  Adeyemi;  Patrick Dokumor ; Joseph Mbu and Sabo  Ringim.

Ikechukwu Ani, head, Press and Public Relations, PSC, n a statement said Mike Okiro, chairman of the Commission, “congratulated the affected officers for their meritorious service to the nation and wished them well in their new endeavours.”
