OMOYELE Sowore, former presidential candidate and publisher of Sahara Reporters, has been reportedly shot by a police operative in Abuja.
Sowore was reportedly shot on Monday by a female police officer at the Unity Fountain in Abuja.
The politician cum activist has been rushed to hospital for medical treatment, The Advocate learned.
Lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, made this known on Twitter.
He wrote: “@YeleSowore has just been shot by a female police officer at the Unity Fountain in Abuja.”
“The criminal officer is said to be an ACP. I watched Sowore being shot live on Facebook.”
