Ado Dansudu, national president, Arewa United Consultative Forum, AUCF, has described Senator Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso as the best to pick the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential ticket for 2019 election.

Senator Kwankwaso declared his intention to run for the number position last week in Abuja. Dansudu who stated that Kano State under Kwankwaso as governor witnessed a lot of developments believe he has the capacity to replicate such developmental strides at the federal level.

“Kwannkwaso did a lot of projects in Kano when he was the governor which no governor would be able to surpass in near future, he can perform the same feet if given the same opportunity as president,” he said.

He warned PDP of making the same mistake it made in 2015 by presenting Goodluck Jonathan as its flag bearer when it was obvious that a northern candidate would defeat President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The success of PDP in the 2019 presidential election depends on the candidate that will represent the party in the election. If the party repeats the mistake of 2015, then President Buhari will return to power.”

Dansudu further stated that the people of Kano State are solidly behind Kwankwaso contrary to the claim that a lot of supporters have defected to APC burning the red cap.

“What you saw happening that day was mere politics. Those people you saw at Sani Abacha stadium in Kano were rented crowd who were interested in getting their pay.  I am an indigene of Kano State, so there is nothing about Kano politics that I don’t know”.

He claimed it is the time for Kano to produce the next president of this country which the state has been denied for a long time.
