BREAKING: Buhari wins Ekiti, Osun States

THE Independent National Election Commission, INEC, has declared President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, winner of the presidential election in Ekiti and Osun states. In Ekiti State, the president scored 219,213 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar, his closet rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Idiwu Olayinka, the returning officer in Ekiti State and the vice chancellor, University of Ibadan, said out of the 395,741 that accredited to vote, the APC scored 219, 231 against the PDP which scored 154,034 votes.
In Osun State, Buhari scored 347,634 votes to defeat Abubakar of the PDP candidate with 337,377 votes.
