Buhari Appoints New Acting Police IG

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, as the new acting Inspector General of Police. Idris is an Assistant Inspector General of police, from Niger State.
Idris’ appointment follows the retirement of Solomon Arase as he clocks the compulsory retirement age of 60. Idris was the AIG in charge of operations at the force headquarters, Abuja.
